PeriodIf there is remaining coverage
from the Audi New Car Limited Warranty at the time of Certified
pre-owned purchase, the Audi New Car Limited Warranty provides coverage
on the Certified pre-owned vehicle until its expiration, either 4 years
from the original in-service date or at 50,000 miles, whichever occurs
first. When the Audi New Car Limited Warranty expires, the Audi
Certified pre-owned Limited Warranty becomes effective and provides
coverage for a period of 2 years or up to 50,000 miles, whichever occurs
first, not to exceed 100,000 total vehicle miles. For Audi R8 vehicles,
the authorized Audi dealer must also have the designation Audi R8
Certified Point or Audi R8 Service Point.
What is
Covered?The following items have Audi
Certified pre-owned Limited Warranty coverage on authorized repairs to
correct a manufacturer?s defect in materials or workmanship. This list
is not inclusive. See your Audi service representative for specific
items. For Audi R8 vehicles, the authorized Audi dealer must also have
the designation Audi R8 Certified Point or Audi R8 Service
Point.

Terms and conditions- Repairs under this warranty will be performed free
of charge, after a deductible of $85 per dealer visit. In the event
several repair attempts are necessary to repair a manufacturer?s defect
in materials or workmanship covered by this warranty, the deductible
with respect to that repair must be paid only once. For Audi R8
vehicles, the authorized Audi dealer must also have the designation Audi
R8 Certified Point or Audi R8 Service Point.
- Where
to go for warranty service. To obtain service under this limited
warranty, the vehicle must be brought, upon discovery of a defect in
material or workmanship, to the workshop of an authorized Audi dealer
during normal business hours. Warranty repairs will be performed by an
authorized Audi dealer or authorized Audi Service Center in the United
States, including its territories and Canada. For Audi R8 vehicles, the
authorized Audi dealer must also have the designation Audi R8 Certified
Point or Audi R8 Service Point.
- Emergency repairs.
Emergency repairs performed by a non-Audi service facility will be
reimbursed if the repair work was needed and correctly performed, and it
was impossible or unreasonable under the circumstances to tow or drive
your Audi to the nearest Audi dealer. The maximum reimbursement
allowable is an amount equal to what it would cost if your authorized
Audi dealer had completed the repair(s). Reimbursement will be
considered when you submit the following items to your authorized Audi
dealer: paid receipt(s), repair order(s) and the part(s) removed from
your Audi.
- Audi R8 Emergency Repairs. Emergency
repairs for the Audi R8 must be performed at an authorized Audi dealer
with the designation Audi R8 Certified Point or Audi R8 Service Point.
Contact Audi R8 Roadside Assistance to have the vehicle safely
transported to the nearest Audi R8 Certified Point or Audi R8 Service
Point.
- The Audi Certified pre-owned Limited Warranty
is nontransferable.
